It's been forever, I know.
I love my job.
Let me say it again.
I LOVE MY JOB.
I'm finally used to the sleeping-during-the-day thing, which is why I
haven't updated in a while. If I'm not at work, I'm usually
sleeping. 
Also, I have an income now, so I'm putting a substantial amount of each
paycheck in savings to pay my loans/save for when I do finally finish
my degree.
I'm loving life right now, for the first time since I went to college.
I miss you all.

wow. been a while, huh?
after four days of training, an opening appeared at central station for
a full time job. so i took it. i now work nights. 12
hour shifts. my body is hating me right now, but i think i'll get
used to it. besides, the only way to get to work the day shift is
to work the night shift first. so i'll deal.
i just happen to be off the weekend of the WE concert....i think.
if someone wants to email me a 'draft' concert schedule....that would
be great. angeldblack@hotmail.com

| so...i started training yesterday. i think i'm really going to like this
job. it's exciting...
lots to learn....but exciting.
so i dont have to answer this question a million times.... i am a central
station communications specialist at the food lion home office in salisbury. i
am an operator who monitors the burgular and fire alarms systems in all food
lion stores (which spread as far as florida and georgia). i call the stores
that have problems with their alarm systems and aid them in troubleshooting over
the phone, as well as dispatch the police/fire dept when the respective alarms
go off. if there is indeed a robbery/fire/burgulary, i am to file a report in
the database. if the media is involved, i am to send voice mails to the big
wigs (district managers, etc). sound like a ton of shit to do? exactly. but
it's going to be awesome.
